Branch has been organising short term training programmes from time to time for the officials and personnel of non-governmental organisations. The Branch have been organising National level awareness programmes on the issues like Consumer Rights, Environment, Gender Equality, Child Rights, e-Panchayats and Tax policies etc.

The Branch organises the J K P Sinha Memorial Essay Competition annually on the burning topics. Prof Satish Shaw Memorial Lecture Series on Science and Governance and Jagdish K Verma memorial award for social work by students will commence from 2017.

A training programme on ASPECTS OF CONSUMER RIGHTS AND EMPLOYABILITY was organised on 22nd November, 2017 for students of BCA and BBA at R N College, Hajipur. Prof Jagdish Prasad, Director, ISM, Patna and Dr R K Verma Associate Professor were the main Resource Persons.

The IIPA Bihar has launched "Research Development Programme" since the year 2020 which aims at spreading awareness and orientation of the teachers, Scholars and students of institutions of higher education of Bihar towards innovative and socially relevant research activities. Under this Programme three types of activities are organised, such as a) organising webinars/seminars/Talks etc. with reputed academicians as RESOURCE PERSON.In this sequence exhaustive lectures by Prof M. K. Mishra, British American University, Florida USA and Prof Y. S. Sisodia, Director, M P Institute of Social Research, Ujjain, MP have already been organised. Wide response from accross the country have been receive, b) Organise research orientation sessions in different colleges/universities of the state. Till date (May, 2023) three such sessions in different colleges have been organised, and c) organising SUBJECT LABS in Pub. Admn and other social sciences for the students. Under this scheme, Branch attempts to make students grasp concept through activities.
